The 5th and final T20 match between the West Indies and South Africa was played at the National Cricket Ground on Saturday. The last game was the final as both teams won 2 of each of the first 4 games.

South Africa captain Temba Bauma, who won the toss, chose to bat first. Captain Bauma, who pitched with Quinton de Kock as the opening batsman, was ruled out without taking any runs.

Following this, De Gock and Aidan Markram put on a fine performance, scoring fifty. The pair added 128 runs for the 2nd wicket. First, De Gock was dismissed for 60 off 42 balls. Following him, Markram was dismissed for 70 off 48 balls. Dwayne Bravo was out for 1 off the next fielding Vander Duson.
