Minimizing the Government of India to 'Union Government'
AIADMK coordinator O. Panneerselvam said it was unacceptable.
His statement in this regard:
"As anti-national activities continue in Tamil Nadu, the perception among the public is whether Tamil Nadu is going in the opposite direction.
It does not seem fair to refer to the Indian state as the 'Union Government' in the words of the leaders on federalism. This is because no leader has ever called the Indian government a 'Union Government'. In fact, in 1963, Grandfather Annawe spoke at the state level that "states are divided."
The people of Tamil Nadu think that calling the Indian government a 'Union Government' is tantamount to slandering and belittling the Indian motherland. Such an act is unacceptable.
Next, MLA ER Eswaran told the assembly that Tamil Nadu had raised its head as the governor had removed the word Jaihind from his speech. Is this fair? Is it conducive to Indian sovereignty?
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu should take action to remove the words spoken by MLA Eeswaran against Indian sovereignty in a way that defames the word Jaihind. "
