Chance of heavy rain in a few districts of Tamil Nadu ...!

The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in the Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Salem, Dharmapuri and Namakkal districts of Tamil Nadu.

Dindigul, Tenkasi districts, Kanyakumari and a few inner districts, coastal districts along the Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Salem, Dharmapuri and Namakkal districts of Tamil Nadu will receive heavy rains in one or two places due to atmospheric circulation and southwest monsoon. Light to moderate showers with thunder and lightning are expected in a few places in Karaikal.

July 17: Heavy rains with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Salem, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Ariyalur and Perambalur districts. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places.
