DMK has asked for Rs 1 crore for Jayaraj's family, it is right to give Rs 10 lakh relief to Murugesan's family in the present regime....?


In Salem, the Tamil Nadu government has announced a relief package of Rs 10 lakh for the family of Murugesan who was killed in a police attack.

Village of Idayappatti near Attur, Salem. Murugesan and his friends from the village went to Kallakurichi and returned home after drinking alcohol. When he returned home via Kalvarayanmalai, the police detained him at the Pappanayakkanpatti check post and attacked him.

In this, merchant Murugesan was whitewashed by Prampal SI. He was seriously injured and fell unconscious on the road. Doctors later said he died at the hospital. Murugesan suffered a serious head injury in the back. His relatives allege he died as a result of being pushed down by police on the road.
 
Leader of the Opposition Edappadi Palanisamy raised the issue in the Assembly. Chief Minister Stalin had demanded a crore relief for the family of the deceased and a government job for one.

In this situation, a notice has been issued on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government to provide Rs. 10 lakh relief to the Murugesan family who was beaten by the police. Father, son Pennix and Jayaraja were beaten to death by police in Satankulam last year and both of them died.
 
Opposition parties, including the DMK, have strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate payment of Rs 1 crore to the families of the victims and government services.

Is it fair to give Rs 10 lakh to those who asked for one crore then came to power? Immediately, the public is questioning whether they should also give a crore to the Murugesan family.
