Chance of heavy rain in 6 districts of Tamil Nadu due to heat wave

The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in 6 districts in Tamil Nadu due to heat wave.

Due to heat wave in Tamil Nadu, thundershowers and thundershowers will occur at a few places in Vellore, Ranipettai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Chengalpattu and Villupuram districts today. In other districts, light rain is likely at one or two places.

Heavy showers and thundershowers will occur at a few places in Salem, Krishnagiri, Vellore, Tiruvallur, Nilgiris and Erode districts of Tamil Nadu tomorrow (June 27). . In other districts, light rain is likely at one or two places.

Moderate to thundershowers and thundershowers will occur at a few places in the districts along the Western Ghats (Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni and Dindigul) on June 28.

On June 29 and 30, light to moderate rain is likely in one or two places in the inner districts and districts along the Western Ghats. In other districts, light rain is likely at one or two places.

26.06.2021 to 01.07.2021: Strong winds at 40 to 50 kmph in southwestern and central western Arabian Sea. 60 km from time to time. May blow at speed.
