About 70 percent of the temple property in Tamil Nadu is registered on the website .... Government information

About 70 per cent of temple property details in Tamil Nadu have been uploaded on the website, the 'public prosecutor' said in the High Court.

Petition filed by Kumari District Heritage Rescue Committee Secretary Krishnamani in the High Court Branch:

The temples of Kanyakumari district existed in the princely state of Travancore before 1956. After the division of the linguistic provinces, the temples of Kumari district were handed over to the Government of Tamil Nadu.

It is customary for these temples to conduct Jamabandhi (Pasali Survey) on behalf of the Revenue Department every year. We demanded that the details of the properties of the temples be uploaded on the website before the Jamabandhi. This was not implemented by the revenue authorities.

Therefore, the properties in the temples should be demarcated and ordered to be uploaded on the website before the Jamabandhi of the current Pasaliyand.

Thus stated in the petition.

The petition came up for hearing in the session of Justices DS Sivagnanam and S Anandi. Public Prosecutor AK Manikkam argues that 70 per cent of temple property details in Tamil Nadu have been uploaded on the website. There has been a delay in the process of uploading the corona curve.

Details of the remaining properties are being uploaded on the website. Full details of the temple properties will be uploaded on the website soon, he said.

Subsequently, 70 per cent of the temple property details have been uploaded on the website. The petitioner will have to wait until the remaining details are uploaded on the website.

You can then petition the authorities if there is not enough information about the temple property on the website. Authorities can take legal action on the petition. The judges ordered that the petition be dismissed.
