3,403 people have lost their lives in India in the last 24 hours ....

The number of corona infections in India has dropped to 91,702 as of Friday morning. For the fourth day in a row, less than a million new infections have been reported daily.

A press release issued by the Federal Department of Health further states:

Of those treated for corona infection in the last 24 hours, 3,403 died in a single day. A total of 3,63,079 people have died so far. The highest daily death toll was 4552 on the 19th of last month.

The number of people receiving treatment for corona infection has dropped significantly and currently stands at 11,21,671. This is less than 20 lakh on the 11th day of this number in the country.

For the 29th day in a row, the number of survivors is increasing more than the new victims. In a single day, 1,34,580 recovered and returned home.

So far a total of 2,77,90,073 people have recovered from coronavirus infection. The rate of recovery has increased to 94.77 percent.

20,44,131 tests have been conducted in the 24 hours till Friday morning and a total of 37,42,42,384 tests have been carried out in India so far.

So far 24,60,85,649 vaccines have been vaccinated under the nationwide vaccination program, the statement said.
