Varun Chakraborty from Tamil Nadu has been included in the Indian squad for the Sri Lanka tour.

Varun Chakraborty has been selected for the T20 series in Australia as he bowled well in the IPL 2020. However he withdrew due to injury. He was later selected for the England T20 series.

But he failed a fitness test conducted by the BCCI. Many felt sorry for him as he could not use the 2nd opportunity he got.

The Indian team will tour Sri Lanka next month and play 3 ODIs and 3 T20s.

The Shikhar Dhawan-led Indian team has been selected for the series against Sri Lanka as leading players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are taking part in the England Test series. This includes Varun Chakraborty from Tamil Nadu.
