India has patented a tsunami detection and real-time tsunami surveillance device discovered by Tamil Nadu scientists.
A team of 4 Tamil scientists led by Ma. Arul Muthiah, A. Sundar and K. Ramesh, led by Ra. Developed to help detect a tsunami. It has been patented by India.
Regarding the tsunami detection device, Ra. Venkatesh said:
Unique technical features
The device is located at a depth of 4,000 meters in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. This tool has various modern, unique technical features. Its database transmits real-time tsunami information via satellite simultaneously to the NIOT Data Center and the INCOIS Tsunami Warning Center.
These data sets and tsunami warnings are also shared with India's neighbors. Next to the United States in the world, India has independently designed and installed tsunamis. NIOT scientists have been traveling deep into the ocean to maintain corona infection and parasites.
Our team has been granted an Indian patent for the discovery of such a float, entitled 'REAL TIME TSUNAMI MONITORING SYSTEM'.
Thus he said.
According to K. Ramadoss, Director, National Institute of Maritime Technology, the Institute of Maritime Technology is conducting various studies on the sea surface. One of them is the tsunami warning device. The device immediately sends the collected data to a satellite, from where it is transmitted to NIOD and Incoise.
Even if a tool is well researched, its data should be readily available. The specialty of this tool is communication. It is gratifying to have got an Indian patent for this. I would like to express my appreciation to our scientists who worked for it. '
