The Met Office has forecast thundershowers in various parts of Tamil Nadu on Monday (July 19) due to the prevailing atmospheric circulation and southwest monsoon in the coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining areas.

An official of the Chennai Meteorological Department said on Sunday that there will be heavy showers in one or two places in four districts of Coimbatore, Theni, Nilgiris and Salem in Tamil Nadu on Monday (July 19) due to the prevailing atmospheric mantle and southwest monsoon in northern coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining areas. .

Dindigul, Tenkasi, Erode, Tiruppur, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Vellore, Ranipettai, Tiruppur and Tiruvallur districts along the Western Ghats will receive light to moderate showers at one or two places.
