2,079 people affected by corona in Tamil Nadu in last 24 hours ..!

In the last 24 hours in Tamil Nadu, 2,078 people in Tamil Nadu alone and 2,079 people from other states have been affected by corona. 29 people have been killed. 2,743 have recovered. It is comforting to note that the incidence of corona has been declining in Tamil Nadu for the last 53 days. Corona exposure in Chennai has been declining for 67 days.

According to a statement issued by the Department of Health, 1,43,429 samples were tested for corona in Tamil Nadu yesterday alone. Of those, 2,079 were confirmed corona. This brings the number of corona victims to 25,35,402. And so far 3,55,57,967 samples have been corona tested.

Today, 1,202 people and 877 women are diagnosed with coronavirus. As a result, the number of males affected by corona has increased to 14,81,476 and the number of females to 10,53,888. The number of people recovering from the virus has risen to 24,73,781, following the return of 2,743 people from corona infection.

29 people have died due to corona infection. Of these, 10 died at a private hospital and 19 at a government hospital. As a result, the death toll from the virus has risen to 33,724. Thus stated in that statement.
