Prime Minister Modi was met by 'Governor Banwarilal Purohit' at his residence in Delhi.

It is learned that the then Governor discussed the demands of the Tamil Nadu government, including NEET, with the Prime Minister. However, the meeting with the Prime Minister was a routine one, according to Governor Banwar.

The Governor met the Prime Minister today for the first time since the DMK took charge in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, the meeting with the Prime Minister is seen as important in the wake of reports that the governor may be replaced by Banwar.

Earlier this morning, Purohit met President Ramnath Govind and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh by Governor Banwar.
