We all wear masks to protect ourselves from corona impact. Herbal masks are currently available in a variety of forms, including fabric masks and plastic masks. Technology helmets that combine Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and smartphone with helmets are being sold in Asian countries, including Japan.
Now scientists have developed a sophisticated mask with a different technology. Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University in the United States have designed a new mask that can detect the corona virus within 90 minutes.
This is stated in an article in the popular science journal Nature Biotechnology.
French scientists have discovered shields fitted with sophisticated disease detection sensors. If there is any other virus in the air, including the corona virus, the sensors fitted with this mask detect it and immediately inform the owner who is wearing the mask. Scientists say they could soon move out of the area and escape.
There are various viruses and bacteria in the air we breathe when we walk on the road. The mucous membranes and hairs in our nostrils prevent these from entering the lungs. French scientists have planned to fit a sensor on a helmet worn by a particular person because the corona virus particle spreads rapidly.
Once the virus particle floats in the air, the sensor detects the nature of the virus. Note that this does not require a battery. Isn’t it irritating and itchy in that area as soon as something dusty that causes allergies on our skin? Scientists say these sensors work just like that.
This mask has given very accurate results in the initial tests, which is comparable to the current PCR tests.
The sensors are designed to be activated by the wearer when they want to test. According to a report released by scientists, the results will only be shown on the inside of the mask for users' privacy.
