India and Pakistan are in the same division at the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.

The T20 World Cup - takes place in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17 to November 14. The T20 World Cup will be held in four regions: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Oman. The T20 World Cup in India has been shifted to the United Arab Emirates due to the Corona environment.

Eight teams from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland, Namibia, Oman and Papua New Guinea will take part in the first round. The top two teams in each division will join the other eight teams in the Super 12 round. The first round matches will be played in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. Although the tournament does not take place in India, the T20 World Cup is being held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman on behalf of the BCCI.

The ICC has divided the participating teams into two categories based on the T20 rankings.

The reigning champions West Indies in Group 1 are England, Australia, South Africa and two teams selected in the qualifying round. Similarly, Group 2 includes India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan and two teams selected for the qualifying rounds. This round is named Super 12. With this announcement, the fans are looking forward to the India-Pakistan clash.

Qualifying matches are called first round matches. Among them are Sri Lanka, Ireland, the Netherlands and Namibia in Group A, while Bangladesh, Scotland, Oman and Papua New Guinea are in Group B.
