In Tamil Nadu, thundershowers are likely in some parts of Puthuvai and Karaikal

In Tamil Nadu, thundershowers will occur at a few places in Salem, Dharmapuri, Kallakurichi, Thiruvannamalai, Madurai, Ranipettai, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Theni, Dindigul, Tirupati, Villupuram and Cuddalore districts due to atmospheric circulation and heat wave. Light to moderate showers with thundershowers will occur at a few places in other districts and parts of Puduvai and Karaikal.

 

Thundershowers will occur at a few places in Salem, Dharmapuri, Kallakurichi, Thiruvannamalai, Ranipettai, Kanchipuram, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Tirupati, Coimbatore, Erode, Villupuram and Cuddalore districts tomorrow. Light to moderate showers with thundershowers will occur at a few places in other districts and parts of Puduvai and Karaikal.

For Chennai, the sky will be partly cloudy for the next 48 hours. The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some parts of the city.
