Uttar Pradesh, India's largest state, is set to hold assembly elections next year in five states, including Punjab, and parliamentary elections in 2024.

It was reported that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had consulted with political adviser Prashant Kishore for this. He said he was not talking about forming a third coalition and was speaking out of respect.
