Chance of heavy rain in 13 districts of Tamil Nadu today

The Chennai Meteorological Department said on Thursday that there is a possibility of heavy rain in 13 districts in Tamil Nadu today.

According to the Meteorological Department,

Tamil Nadu is likely to receive heavy rains till July 3 due to atmospheric circulation and heat wave.

Thundershowers during the next 24 hours in 13 districts including Kanchipuram, Thiruvannamalai, Vellore, Ranipettai, Tirupati, Kallakurichi, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Salem and Dharmapuri.

Heavy showers are likely in Theni, Dindigul, Salem, Madurai, Dharmapuri, Virudhunagar, Villupuram and Kallakurichi districts tomorrow and the next day (July 3) in the Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Theni, Dindigul, Tenkasi, Madurai, Sivagangai and Delta districts.
