A total of 3,715 new corona virus infections have been confirmed in Tamil Nadu

A total of 3,715 new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Tamil Nadu on Monday.

The state health department has released data on the impact of corona on Tamil Nadu. The total number of cases has risen to 25,00,002 since 3,715 new cases were confirmed.

A further 4,029 people have recovered from the infection and returned home. A total of 24,32,017 people have recovered so far.

The death toll rose to 33,059 as 54 people died of the disease.

As of today, a total of 34,926 people, including those in isolation, are still receiving treatment for infections.

The highest number of cases were reported in Coimbatore (436), Erode (330), Salem (233), Thanjavur (218), Tiruppur (217) and Chennai (214).
