43 new Union Ministers have been sworn in ....

 

In the cabinet expansion led by Prime Minister Modi, 43 new ministers have been appointed.

The Modi-led government took over after the 2nd Prime Minister won in 2019. Now, for the first time in 2 years, the Union Cabinet has been expanded. The new cabinet has been expanded to give more opportunities to the youth and to represent all communities properly.


Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Information Technology Minister Prakash Javdekar, Health Minister Harshavardhan, Ramesh Pokriyal, Santosh Kanwar, Tapasree Chaudhary and Sadananda Gowda have resigned.


So far a total of 12 people have resigned from their ministerial posts. The resignation letters have been approved by the President.

In this context, 43 new Union Ministers were sworn in today. President Ramnath Govind administered the oath of office to the new ministers at the inauguration ceremony held at the Presidential Palace. The 14 members of the new cabinet are under the age of 50.
