In this context, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia spoke about the Punjab elections.

In Punjab, the Congress party has failed to win the confidence of the people. The Congress party has lost faith in the people.

He therefore said that the formation of the Congress would no longer be a government unsuitable for the people.

Punjab will go to the polls in February or March next year.

2017- Legislative Election:

Out of a total of 117 constituencies in the 2017 Assembly elections, the Congress won 77 seats and came to power. Aam Aadmi Party won 20 seats and emerged as the second largest party. The former ruling Siromani Akali Dal won only 15 seats and the BJP 3 seats.
