The case registered against H. Raja will be heard on July 23 ....


The trial in the case registered against BJP senior leader H Raja for criticizing the Chennai High Court will begin on July 23 in the Thirumayam court, the public prosecutor in the high court said.

Father Periyar Dravidar Kalaka Advocate Duraisamy, Petition filed in the Madurai Branch of the High Court:

"Police denied permission to BJP senior leader H. Raja to set up a stage at the Ganesha, Chaturthi procession in September 2018 at Pudukkottai Thirumayam." Thus H. Raja spoke harshly to the police and severely criticized the court. Police have registered a case against H. Raja in this regard.
The case is pending in the Diocesan Court. The High Court ordered the police to complete the investigation soon and file the chargesheet within 2 months. However the charge sheet has not been filed for 3 years. Police officers who do not follow the court order should be ordered to take action. ”

Thus stated in the petition.

When the case came up for hearing, the public prosecutor said that a chargesheet had been filed in the court of law. Following this, the High Court ordered that a copy of the chargesheet be filed.

The case came up for hearing today before Judge Ilangovan. At that time, the public prosecutor filed a copy of the chargesheet against the police H. Raja in the Thirumayam court. The trial is set to begin on July 23 in Thirumayam Court.

Following this, the judge ordered the case to be closed.
