Successive blast at Jammu airport ... Terrorist arrested


The Jammu and Kashmir Police has registered a case under the Prevention of Illegal Activities Act in connection with the blast at the Jammu Air Force Base.


The bombs exploded on the roof of the Jammu Air Force base at 1:27 am and on the ground at less than 1:32 am.


The Indian Air Force said the first blast caused minor damage to the roof of the building and another exploded in the open. Thus, tension prevailed in the area.

Informed sources said:


"The attack was carried out by a drone. The attack may have been aimed at a parked aircraft. However, no damage was caused by the blast. Only two crew members were slightly injured."

The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) rushed to the scene and is investigating the blast.


The Jammu and Kashmir Police said that an investigation is underway and a case has been registered under the Prevention of Illegal Activities Act.
