Only written examinations will be conducted for all government jobs from Group 1 ....

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy in his election promise promised 2 lakh government jobs a year when he came to power. Failing to do so, many, including parents and graduates of the opposition, began to criticize the Jagan government. Thus, the Chief Minister recently announced the filling of 10,200 government posts and released the schedule accordingly.

In this context, the Andhra Pradesh government yesterday issued a new directive stating that only written examinations will be conducted for all government jobs from Group 1 onwards and interviews will not be conducted. If so, people are confused as to how to select people for the job.
