It was reported that the meeting discussed the possibility of uniting all the opposition parties to fight vigorously against the BJP in the 2024 parliamentary elections and the opposition's prime ministerial candidate.

Following this, Nationalist Congress Party leader Sarabjit Pawar met Prashant Kishore again yesterday.

Following this, Pawar also held consultations with senior Trinamool Congress leader Yashwant Sinha and senior Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Ja. Following this, Sarabjit Pawar called a meeting of the opposition.

Accordingly, a consultative meeting was held at Sarat Pawar's house today. The meeting was attended by Aam Aadmi Party, Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party and Left parties.

The meeting discussed the formation of a strong alliance at the national level against the BJP. Consultations were held on who would be the prime ministerial candidate on behalf of the opposition in the parliamentary elections.

Next year U.P. U.P. also spoke about forming a coalition of opposition parties ahead of the legislative elections. Preliminary consultations have also taken place on a strategy to defeat the BJP in the elections. But parties including Bahujan Samaj and Congress did not participate in the meeting.
