Edappadi Palanisamy has condemned a former minister who said that the death toll in Tamil Nadu was increasing day by day due to the DMK's return to power and that the people who voted for the DMK would die.

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy had camped mostly in Salem after the change of government in Tamil Nadu after the assembly elections.

While there, he also consulted on future political plans. Edappadi Palanisamy had once come to Salem to attend a meeting of the legislature. Then he came to Chennai to attend the recent AIADMK district secretaries meeting. This time Edappadi Palanisamy was staying in the government bungalow allotted to him in Chennai.

Knowing that Edappadi Palanisamy had come to Chennai, a large number of AIADMK executives had gone to his bungalow on the Green Line to meet him.

Some went alone and some went with many of the executives and met Edappadi and left. Later in the afternoon, Edappadi Palanisamy held important consultations with AIADMK executives close to him.

The key aspect of that consultation is how to act against the DMK government in the Corona environment. The meeting was attended by a number of key party executives from the ministers who acted as the right hand man to Edappadi Palanisamy during the last regime.

The then former minister, who could have won the election and become an MLA, has spoken of the increase in corona after the DMK came to power. And the DMK government does not have the management skills. That is why they are unable to control the corona. People are dying in clusters.

The former minister has said that the people who voted for the DMK to come to power need it. Hearing this, they say that Edappadi Palanisamy became Tenson. Edappadi Palanisamy has reprimanded the former minister for not blaming the people for the DMK government's mistakes.

And we need to understand that the people are important, whether it is the DMK regime or our regime. We should not abandon the people just because the DMK decided and voted to come to power.
