An incident has taken place where a DMK personages who went to build a panchayat in a land dispute fell on a knife.

Kaliyappan has been running a restaurant called "Navaladi Kongu Restaurant" in the Poonamallee area of ​​Chennai. Kaliyappan, who is planning to set up a parking lot for his restaurant, has asked for Jayendra Kumar's land next to the restaurant.

After negotiating a price of Rs 11 lakh for this, Kaliyappan did not pay as stated. As Jayendra Kumar refused to hand over the land deeds, Kaliyappan has invited DMK personages, to do the construction work.

 

At Kaliyappan's call, DMK leaders Nitish, Stalin, Arun, Prakash and Madan rushed to the spot and intimidated Jayanthiran into vacating the land.

When the altercation ended in a scuffle, an enraged Jayendra Kumar took a nearby knife and stabbed DMK leader Nitish in the stomach. The injured Nitish was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Jayanthiran, the owner of the land, has been arrested by the police, who have registered a preliminary information report after accepting the complaint.

Also, the owner of the restaurant, Kaliyappan, has filed a case against DMK personages Nitish, Stalin, Arun, Prakash and Madan and are looking for them as they are in hiding.
