Facebook and Google to follow new IT rules ... Federal Government announcement

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology on Tuesday advised Facebook and Google to follow the new IT rules.

The federal government has implemented new information technology rules for social media. Accordingly, the companies have been urged to appoint separate officers locally to address the grievances of the beneficiaries. Many more restrictions have come into force through the new rules.

In this case, the parliamentary committee has advised Facebook and Google to follow the new information technology rules implemented in the country.
