12 class student killed in cell phone explosion in Madurai

Dinesh is the son of Sethuramalingam from Alampatti, Madurai district. He is mostly studying +2 in Government High School. Earlier yesterday, it was raining heavily with thunder and lightning in the affected areas. At that time, Dinesh was charging his cell phone and when the call came on the cell phone, Dinesh was talking on the cell phone without picking up the charger. Unexpectedly the cell phone exploded with a terrifying noise. Dinesh succumbed to his injuries on the spot.

Upon learning of this, the police arrived at the scene, seized Dinesh's body and sent it to the Melur Government Hospital for autopsy. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway into the incident. The incident in which a student was killed when a cell phone exploded has caused tragedy in the area.

Doctors and researchers continue to insist that using a cell phone while charging is dangerous.
