The West Bengal Legislative Assembly today passed a resolution to create a 'Set up Legislative'.

Of the 265 members who took part in the vote in the legislature, 196 voted in favor of the resolution and 69 against. Thus, the resolution was passed in the Assembly .

During the West Bengal assembly elections, the Trinamool Congress had promised to create a 'Set up Legislative'.

In this context, the ruling Trinamool government has passed a resolution in the ongoing legislative assembly.

Earlier, only six states - Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka - had 'Set up Legislative'.
