Action is being taken against the student who failed the Class 10 public examination near Edappadi and claimed to have passed Class 12 by giving a fake mark certificate.

His son Manojkumar (18), a government school student from Vellanayakkan Palayam, Rathinavel, a farm laborer in the Edappadi municipal area, is said to have failed the Class 10 general examination in the last 2019 academic year.

In this situation, student Manoj Kumar has appeared for the special examination held regularly. It is said that Manoj Kumar did not pass again after getting 31 marks in English film.

Following this, Manoj Kumar downloaded his provisional mark sheet from the website, corrected the 31 mark from it by computer, corrected it from 35 to F in English and submitted it to Edappadi Government Boys' High School and joined Class XI.

Manoj Kumar, a student who passed Class 11 as per the government order to pass all, has also passed Class 12 in the same manner as the schools are not functioning as usual due to the corona epidemic. While preparing the mark sheet of the student concerned, the officers found that the mark of the English subject in his 10th class mark list was 35 and the writing number was thirty one and inquired about it.

It was revealed that the student involved had forged his 10th class mark sheet and joined the 11th class. Edappadi Education District Officer Vijaya, who investigated the matter, has sent a letter of recommendation to higher officials seeking action against the student involved.
