Stalin's request to Prime Minister Modi to reconsider NEET decision ...!

Stalin has called on Prime Minister Modi to reconsider the decision, saying that in the current context of school-college closures, holding national-level exams like NEET could lead to an epidemic.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (July 16) held a video conference with the Chief Ministers of the six most affected states in India. In this, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Stalin attended and presented various demands to the Prime Minister. Stalin then said that Tamil Nadu was the only large state that had to face the difficult task of overcoming the Govt epidemic as a newly responsible government. My government has faced this challenge, reduced the death toll and brought the epidemic under control.

I would like to thank the Central Government for raising the allocation of oxygen and remedies for Tamil Nadu. The Government of Tamil Nadu has completely eliminated the wastage of vaccines from 6 per cent and has been very successful in raising awareness about the vaccine. As a result, the demand for vaccines in Tamil Nadu is currently high. However, compared to other states, the allocation for our state is very low. To overcome this crisis, I have demanded the provision of one crore vaccines as a special provision. On this important issue, I look forward to your support.

In view of the prevailing situation, I was asking the Central Government to exempt all goods related to Govt from goods and services tax. Consider it kindly. As the 3rd wave is said to be coming, we are making all the preparations to deal with it. In order to deal with it, the central government should provide more assistance to the states.

Neet to choose

In the current environment where school-colleges are closed, conducting national level exams like NEET can lead to contagion. The Prime Minister should therefore reconsider this decision. I assure you that the Government of Tamil Nadu will take all necessary steps to deal with this epidemic. To recover from this, we will stand with the Central Government and all the States.
