Sreedharan Pillai took over as the Governor of Goa today....

Sreedharan Pillai was sworn in as the Governor of Goa today (Thursday).

Mumbai High Court Chief Justice Deepankar Thatta Sreedharan administered the oath of office to the child.

Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari also held additional charge as the Governor of Goa. Thus, for the first time since August 2020, Sreedharan Pillai has been appointed as a full-time governor.

Earlier, Sreedharan Pillai was the BJP leader of Kerala and the governor of Mizoram.
