Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with Indian athletes who have qualified for the Olympics.

In this video discussion,
Union Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Anurag Tagore, Union Minister Nishit Brahmanik and Law Minister Kiran Rijiju are also in attendance.

Valarivan and Sarathkamal participated in the discussion with the Prime Minister.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that it was a pleasure to start as a small athlete and qualify for the Olympics and go to international competitions.

Boxer Mary Kom, badminton player PV Sindhu, Deepika Kumari and many others were present and discussed with the Prime Minister.

A total of 126 players from India will travel to Tokyo to participate in 18 games. It is the largest Indian team to go to the Olympics.

It is also noteworthy that the Prime Minister recently inspected the arrangements made for the facilities of the Indian Athletes team going to the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
