The India-Sri Lanka ODI series kicks off on Sunday with newcomers eager to make the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

In the absence of key players including Virat Kohli and Rohit Chama, the Indian cricket team has left for Sri Lanka to take part in a series of 3 ODIs and T20I matches each led by Opener Shikha Dhawan. It seems that Prithviraj Shah and Shikha Dhawan will be in the starting line-up of the Indian team on the verge of winning the series. Veterans Hatik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be directly in the squad.

At the same time, Devdat Padikkal or Rudraj Kejriwal could be the third batsman in the line-up. Action batsmen Suriyakumar Yadav and Manish Pandey could also feature in the batting line-up.
