Heavy rains and landslides in Nepal kill 38 in last 20 days...

Heavy rains and landslides in Nepal have killed 38 people in the last 20 days, the interior ministry said.

The Home Ministry further said:

Nepal has been receiving heavy rains for the past 20 days. So far 38 people have been killed in floods and landslides caused by rains in various parts of the country. These include 7 children. 51 Bo is injured. 24 people are missing. 1,250 have been evacuated from rain-affected areas. 790 houses submerged in landslides and floods. 519 houses and 19 bridges were damaged.

The Nepal Army and the police are reportedly involved in the rescue operation.
