As the DMK says 'Union Govt' .... there is no need to be afraid of the 'Kongunadu' issue ... BJP MLA, Nainar Nagendran

The 'Kongunadu' issue has been the talk of the town for the past few days. Meanwhile, Tirunelveli BJP MLA Nainar Nagendran, who responded to the issue, said it was the duty of the govt to do so if the people's expectations were to be met.

BJP MLA Nainar Nagendran paid homage to his idol at Palayankottai, Tirunelveli district on the occasion of the birthday of freedom fighter Maveeran Alagumuthu Kone.

He was later questioned by reporters about Kongunadu. When he says to this:

Vallanad is on the side of our town. Varushanad is on the Theni side. As well as Manapparai Bags is ‘Valanadu’. Can all that be divided into states? Why are they afraid. No need to fear, everything is Tamil Nadu.

Also, there is only one thing to keep in mind. Andhra is divided into two. Uttar Pradesh is divided into two. The division of states conveys the expectations and intentions of the people.

It is the duty of the state to do so if the expectations of the people of a state are so. 'Kongunadu' is only in Tamil Nadu. Everyone knows that. The DMK is saying 'Union Government'. Everything is going with a narrow perspective. Thus he said.
