Due to the delay, the game was reduced to 47 overs for both the teams. India captain Mithali Raj, who won the toss, chose to bowl first.
Shika Pandey gave a great start to the Indian women. Tommy Beaumont was dismissed in the 2nd over of the innings.
Subsequently, Lauren Winfield Hill and Captain Heather Knight formed a partnership. Winfield were bowled out for 36 as the pair added 67 for the second wicket. Shortly after him, Knight was dismissed for 46.
