1,971 new corona infections confirmed in Tamil Nadu today...

1,971 new cases of corona infection were confirmed in Tamil Nadu on Monday.

A further 28 people have fallen victim to the disease. However, 2,558 people have recovered from the infection and returned home.

Following this, the total number of victims in the state has risen to 25,37,373. Of these, 24,76,339 have recovered. 33,752 people were killed.

As of today, 27,282 people, including those in isolation, are being treated for the infection.

The maximum number of victims was 209 in Coimbatore, 147 in Chennai, 136 in Salem, 116 in Chengalpattu, 122 in Erode, 108 in Thanjavur and 112 in Tirupur.
