The ICC has said that 17 countries, including India, are interested in hosting the ICC tournament from 2023 to 2031.

The ICC meeting was held last month to discuss cricket matches for the period 2023-2031. Many important decisions were made. From 2024 to 2031 there will be 20 ICC tournaments in both men's and women's divisions. There will be eight ODIs and T20 ICC matches in the men's division. The ICC said today that 17 countries, including India, are interested in hosting the ICC White Ball.

Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, Malaysia, Namibia, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the West Indies, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Zimbabwe have submitted preliminary applications to host the ICC. The next step is to send complete applications with additional details. The ICC said in a statement that it would then decide where to host the matches.

2028 - Men's and Women's T20 World Cup
2029 - Men's Champions Trophy, World Test Championship final, Women's ODI World Cup
2030 - Men's and Women's T20 World Cup
2031 - Men's ODI World Cup, World Test Championship final, Women's T20 Champions Trophy
