China has successfully launched a new satellite to monitor weather and sea temperature.

The satellite was successfully launched this morning from the Juquan Space Research Center in northwest China.

The satellite is specifically designed to transmit accurate information such as ambient temperature, humidity and other meteorological information. This will allow them to accurately predict Chinese astronomical events.
