With the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh approaching, one of the key leaders of the Congress, Jitin Prasad, joined the BJP yesterday in the presence of Union Minister Pius Goyal.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Union Home Minister Amit Shah yesterday.

Yogi Adityanath, who is on a two-day visit to Delhi, met Amit Shah in person last evening.

  Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath posted the meeting on their Twitter account. He is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow.
