Chief Minister MK Stalin has said that the Tasmac store has been ordered to open as the corona infection is decreasing in Tamil Nadu.
The Chief Minister said yesterday that the curfew has been in force in Tamil Nadu since May 10 and will be extended for another week. Stalin announced.
However relaxations have been granted in this curfew extension.
Tasmac stores are allowed to operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Tamil Nadu BJP and other parties including BJP and AIADMK have strongly opposed this.
While the DMK, which was in opposition during the first wave, has strongly opposed the opening of the Tasmag store, they have raised the question of why the Tasmag store is opening now that it has become the ruling party.
In this context, reporters questioned the Chief Minister who spoke at the opening of the Mettur Dam today about the order to open Tasmac stores.
In response, Chief Minister MK Stalin said that various relaxations had been granted as the corona had shrunk.
He also said that he had ordered the opening of the Tasmac store as the Corona impact had lessened.
When asked about the meeting with Prime Minister Modi, MK Stalin said that he had asked for time to meet the Prime Minister on the 17th.
