West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced that the Plus 2 general examination will be canceled in West Bengal as well.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the Plus 2 general examination will also be canceled as the CBSE Class 10 general examination has already been canceled amid the rapid spread of the second wave of corona.

In this situation, the respective states are deliberating and deciding to cancel the general examination for Plus 2 students studying under the state syllabus.

Following this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced the cancellation of Class 10 and Class 12 examinations in West Bengal.

Earlier, Plus 2 exams were canceled in Tamil Nadu, New Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
