The corona vaccine should be expedited .... O. Panneerselvam insists

AIADMK co-ordinator O. Panneerselvam has urged that the corona vaccination be expedited.

In this regard, OPS today (June 27) issued a statement:

"Human nature has pervaded all living beings created by God. Although it is the duty of everyone to cherish and protect the rare human beings, it is the responsibility and duty of the Central and State Governments to create a healthy society in which all the people of Tamil Nadu can enjoy the immense wealth of a disease-free life and eradicate the corona epidemic which is now rampant. Central and state governments are involved in the work.
In this context, the delta virus is one of the fastest-growing corona viruses ever to spread, and now that corona outbreaks have decreased, restrictions have been relaxed in many countries, and the number of people infected with the delta virus is expected to increase as the number of people infected with the delta virus continues to rise. According to reports, the head of the World Health Organization has said that people should continue to adhere to and raise awareness about the vaccine.

In addition, the mutated corona virus, now known as Delta Plus, has been detected in the Chennai, Kanchipuram and Madurai districts of Tamil Nadu and is highly contagious. It has been reported in the newspapers today that the Secretary of the Central Health Department has written a letter to the Chief Secretary of the State of Tamil Nadu asking him to give importance to these issues.

In this situation, it is reported that the restrictions such as wearing a mask, following personal intervals and washing hands are not fully followed at present, and those who come to buy liquor at Tasmac stores and shop employees do not wear a mask and this is not noticed by government officials. When you look at this, the idea that the government is the target of revenue prevails over everyone. If the government finds it funny that restrictions are blown up for revenue, the government will have to face many times more expenses than revenue.

Therefore, I urge the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to immediately intervene and ensure that government guidelines are complied with, that gatherings in public places are avoided and that vaccination is expedited. This will help to avoid a third wave. "

Thus, the OBS said.
