Proud to say Jaihind ... Tamil Nadu Congress

Controversial over Jaihind's omission in the governor's speech, the Tamil Nadu Congress has posted on its official Twitter page, 'Proud to say Jaihind'.

After the inauguration of the new government headed by Chief Minister Stalin in Tamil Nadu, the first meeting of the Assembly began recently with a speech by the Governor. But in Purohit's speech by Governor Banwar, the word was deleted, causing controversy. In addition, the General Secretary of the Kongu Nadu People's National Party, E.R. Eswaran spoke in a tone that the word Jaihind was deliberately omitted.

Opposition parties, including the BJP, have strongly opposed the omission of Jaihind's word in the governor's speech. But, DMK has not said anything so far. In this context, the Congress, which is in alliance with the DMK, has registered as supporting the word Jaihind. On the official Twitter page of the Tamil Nadu Congress, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi shared a video of Jaihind chanting, with the hashtag '#ProudToSayJaihind'.
