AIADMK is hopeful that they too will get a place during this cabinet reshuffle.

Prime Minister Modi's cabinet currently has 60 members.

Prime Minister Modi held intensive consultations with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national leader JP Natta on the activities of Union Ministers.

The consultation was held for a cabinet reshuffle. Leaders of the BJP's alliance parties are also meeting Amit Shah in Delhi.

The reshuffle is expected to include up to 19 more members.

That means Prime Minister Modi's cabinet is set to increase to a total of 79.

Who has the opportunity?

Jyotiraditya Cynthia, who defected from the Congress to the BJP, Chirac Paswan, who served as the BJP's P team in Bihar and backed the JDU, is likely to feature former Assam Chief Minister Sarpanch Sono, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda and Apna Dal leader Anupriya Patel.

AIADMK MP Rabindranath Kumar, State MP Thambidurai has long hoped that there will be an opportunity in the cabinet reshuffle.

According to Delhi sources, the JDU is likely to be given more prominence during the cabinet reshuffle.
