Prime Minister Modi is attending the G7 summit as a special invitee.

Leaders of the seven member states of the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States are taking part in the conference, which will be held via video conference on the 12th and 13th.

The conference will be held live via Cornwall in the United Kingdom.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson to attend as a special guest.

Accepting it, Prime Minister Modi joins as the special invitee.

This is the second time that Prime Minister Modi has attended the conference as a special invitee.

Earlier in 2019, Prime Minister Modi accepted the invitation of the French President. The conference was then held in Piordis.

The Prime Minister was to go directly to the meeting currently taking place in Britain. However, the trip was canceled due to the intensity of the second wave of Corona.

Meanwhile, Modi is participating in a video conference. Along with India, the leaders of Australia and South Korea are also participating in the conference as special invitees.

The conference is co-hosted by Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States.
