Now that the New Zealand team has become the Test World Champion, the situation must change ...

New Zealand, the world champions in Tests, have played the fewest Tests. New Zealand's Tim Saudy says the situation needs to change for the better.

The New Zealand team has not played more than three Tests in any Test series in the last 5 years. That too has played only three Tests in four of the 18 Test series. Everything else is a series with two Tests. India, meanwhile, lost to New Zealand in the final of the World Test Championship, having won at least three of the 18 Tests played in the last five years. Some of these series featured five or four Tests.

New Zealand say the situation must change now that the New Zealand team has become a Test world champion. Crack bowler Tim Saudi. He told reporters:

We better face the challenges that lie ahead of us. It would be nice to play in more Tests. We don't play Test series as much as we do three games. So we no longer have to play in series with more than three Tests than with series with two Tests. Now that the test schedule has been prepared it is difficult to implement this request. But we have the right to play in more Tests. He said playing in a series with three Tests can be challenging.
