BJP state leader L.Murugan has blamed the DMK for the shortage of vaccines in Tamil Nadu and demanded that the state government issue a white paper on the use and waste of vaccines provided by the central government.
BJP leader L.Murugan, today paid a visit to the Vadapalani Murugan Temple as the Tamil Nadu government has given permission to open temples in four districts, including Chennai.
He told reporters that the White Paper should be released on how much the state government had used and wasted the vaccines provided by the central government, and blamed the DMK for the overall shortfall. Responding to a question raised by reporters on the issue of giving money to candidates during the election, he said, "If we pay Rs 4 crore for election expenses, we can inquire about it ourselves."
He said the party did not pay candidates and that the probe into H Raja was an internal affair. He also said that he would talk later about the use of the term 'Union Government' when ministers take office in Pondicherry yesterday and that he would continue to press the Tamil Nadu government to continue the demands made by the Vel Yatra against the black crowd.
