It is not enough to just cancel the NEET exam ... Action request made by Ramadas to the Tamil Nadu government ...!

The Proletarian People's Party (PPP) has said that the Class 12 general examination in Tamil Nadu should be canceled and all entrance examinations, including the NEED examination for medical studies at the national level, should be canceled. He also demanded that the Central and State Governments should arrange for the admission of students for all courses including Arts and Science, Medicine and Engineering on the basis of the marks given by the examination boards concerned for the students.

In a statement, he said, “With the cancellation of Class 12 General Examinations under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus across India, the Central Government is actively making arrangements for conducting entrance examinations for medical and technical courses. In the absence of a conducive environment for conducting Class XII general examinations, it is unacceptable to attempt to conduct entrance examinations only.

The National Examinations Agency has responded to a question raised under the Right to Information Act that the NEED exam for medical courses in 2021 will be held on August 1 as scheduled. With less than two months to go before August 1st, it is not possible to prepare for the NEET exam by then. Moreover, the prevailing mood among students today is the fact that they will not be able to write any exams for the next few months. The central government should realize this.

The second wave is much harsher than the first wave of the corona. The daily number of first-wave infections across the country peaked at 98,000. However, the second wave reached a new peak of 4.14 lakh daily infections on May 6. One month after that, the number of daily corona infections averaged 1.50 lakh. This is more than 150 percent more than the peak of the first wave of the corona.

The second wave caused more casualties than the first wave. The first wave of corona killed only 1.57 lakh people in the year end-February. But the second wave killed 1.78 lakh people in the two months of April and May alone. Federal and state governments need to think about the state of mind of students who have lost relationships, with more deaths in the last two months alone than in one year.

No direct classes have been held for a single day in the last one year due to corona spread. Everyone knows how consistent the quality of online classes is. Students are not ready for any exam not only mentally but also academically. In such an environment, any examination conducted for 12th class students would be a violation of human rights. The exams .... the lives of the students? Seeing that, the lives of the students should be given more importance. Central and state governments need to realize this.

Therefore, the CBSE Class 12 General Examinations at the national level and the Class 12 General Examinations as per the State Curriculum in many states have been canceled and the Class XII General Examinations as per the State Curriculum should be canceled in Tamil Nadu as well; Everyone must pass. Each should be given a score and certificates based on previous semester exams.

All entrance exams, including the NEED exam for medical studies at the national level, should be abolished in practice. The Central and State Governments should arrange for the admission of students to all courses, including arts and sciences, medicine and engineering, on the basis of the marks given by the selection boards for the students. ”
